IN-HOUSE TRAINING FOR CREW
The course is designed primarily for all shipboard personnel. It deals with the use of Standard Marine Communication Phrases, vocabulary and technical terms used in maritime environment. It also includes oral and written communication using General English maritime correspondence and technical writing.
The principal aim of the course is to develop among seafarers, awareness on the significance of Maritime English in the promotion of marine safety and environmental protection. Participants who successfully complete the training course will be able to speak English in the best manner they could with confidence that leads to fluency.
